Iranians are the most bad ass people. I just finished commenting that I thought Araghchi and the reformers are underestimating the people’s resolve and then I read this.
Iranians have a very elevated level of political consciousness, a tradition that’s continued since the revolution. Political debate and mass politics is extremely ingrained in them which leads to these huge mobilizations.
