🇪🇺 Brussels says Europeans should consider traveling less to avoid energy shortages — Politico
Such a statement was made by European Energy Commissioner Jorgensen.
Europe is preparing for prolonged disruptions in energy supplies due to the war in the Middle East.
Jorgensen stated that national governments should consider “voluntary measures to save demand… with a particular focus on the transport sector”.
On Tuesday, European energy ministers will hold an emergency meeting to discuss ways to address the energy crisis.
