    The US Empire as a political project extends well beyond Trump, and is bipartisan. The solution is revolution, which requires a steady buildup of worker organization coupled with crisis.

    Why are all the comments assuming the question exclusively refers to presidents? Are presidents the only people present in the Whitehouse? I’m asking hypothetically what happens if a maniac is present in the Whitehouse. The intended point is to imagine Trump being treated like any other person.

    There is, but it doesn’t work when most of congress sees him as their deranged lunatic criminal. Laws are only as good as the mechanism of enforcing them.

      I didn’t say lunatic president, I said lunatic in the Whitehouse. I was trying to suggest they should treat him the way they would some random lunatic criminal who found his way into the building
