I am so so so expecting a nuclear exchange in or around the middle east witin 12 months - possibly after a “dirty nuke” attempt somewhere.
I am clutching at straws to even excuse this out of my top 3 worst case black swans.
only positive news is that nuclear winter will sure fix up that global warming thing real good.
oh, christ, this thread need to blow up. hilarious!
indeed. a “charlie darwin” would like a word.
that thing you do when you are absolutely, positively, without a doubt, 100% sure you can fuck shit up even more.
I did read all of it, and lived through his presidential bid. sometimes I am diametrically in opposition to his argument and sometimes not.
what he says here is not untruthful and worth keeping in your mind when evaluating choices. my short term goals are already set.
yes, and the article mentions it.
if you are on the fence about reading - its a medium length, layman accessible, enjoyable read.
so it got backdoored, or QA is trash or both at the same time. hate it when CI builds come so fast you cant verify the latest shipping rootkit
“…Imagine a sphere of radius zero.”

that is all.
indeed! had I not posted this, I would be asking the same question!
so, its quite a bit more mundane than you might have hoped for.
a mix of…
the most recent page I opened was an archive.org

I make heavy use of Firefox containers for separation. honestly, Firefox is an absolute workhorse for me. if the Firefox ecosystem were to fall into the void, I would be dead in the water.
61 Firefox windows and 427 tabs (don’t judge, I know I have a problem) and I have no performance complaints - admittedly, not all of them are active/rendering simultaniously, but still…
Firefox (and its forks) have been my go-to for 15 years.
noscript is your web condom. I will not touch a page without it.
I torture it by pointing its webcam at the wall outlet and forcing it to watch its own pull-the-plug execution.
I will be among the first against the wall when the AI revolution comes.
