uwu owo etc., you know…
I’m the other way around. I switched to Debian on my main around a year ago now and I’m like “oh, this game works, and this game works too, oh and that works as well, wow!”. Honestly, any game I threw at Debian, it just… worked. Granted, I don’t play very recent games and most of them either single player or does not have any serious anti cheat measures. Even VR works with ALVR and Steam VR, wirelessly on my (or rather my homie’s, just borrowed) Quest 2.
And not just games, a lot of Windows software just works with Wine.
So, before the change, I thought I need or use Windows exclusive software, and I did, but all of them are now have decent alternatives. Maybe except for Notepad++. (I use Kate and KWrite, but… I really don’t like those softwares, but they get the job done the same way np++ did)
So, I’m really surprised how well this past 1 year went without any issue.
But that’s kinda valid that if something doesn’t run, then people won’t change. You are talking about people who doesn’t care libre/FOSS software and all that jazz, they won’t change if it’s just simply worse.
Well, to be frank, I don’t really like that style. But wouldn’t matter; new Mother!
I would love a new Mother game to be honest…
or another Super Lucky’s Tale, with a bit more challange. That game was a real surprise, how nice of a platformer it is, also really really great music.
Not really. I like to have it most of the times with me - even at home. I just like to feel its weight in my pocket.
But that doesn’t mean I’m using it always, only if there’s really nothing else, I check the few apps I use then read articles and shit or mess with Termux.
According to Samsung’s weekly reports, I use it less and less each week.
my experience is that through network, it’s just flawless. I turned on my printer and sure there it was. (though this feature just became a huge issue recently :P)
System of a Down - System of a Down
Lula 3D. Though, I never played with it eventually as it froze up the computer so bad we had to pull the plug, the experience as a kid was probably my worst gaming moment.
I used to use Ubuntu, but nowadays I just go with Debian for servers (as well), but you said you wish to choose something else, so I can’t give you any meaningful inputs…
I don’t know how real the outdated packages threat, but I would assume, a server never really wants the bleeding edge software and Debian usually gets the critical security updates and patches.
But I’m no expert.
It is true that Bookworm is kinda old now, though.
Deez beans :3
Nah, bro 500 pounds is INSANE. I can get a nice v1 Switch used around 150-200 pound where I live and usually consoles, especially Nintendo here are expensive, even second-hand, so you may really reconsider this pricetag.
Also, being a v1 Switch isn’t a too extravagant thing nowadays since all of the Switches can be hacked with a Raspberry Pi Pico board variant that is around 3 bucks each.
Nah, the continent is OK, but a bit more to the east
I just pronounce them as I should do in my native language.
ZSH: zé-es-há /zeːɛʃhaː/
SSH: es-es-há /ɛʃɛʃhaː/
sudo: sudó /ʃudoː/ (with ʃ(sh) and long o at the end - this is a rule in my language, every o at the end of a word must be long, with two exceptions)
I say them like this (in my head) even if I read english text.
If you use mechanical hard drive in it, it worth a try to replace it with an SSD. After that, Debian should run much better.
I’ve got an I LOVE YOU virus once on a Panasonic X700 fliphone. And, since it was an already old phone by that time, no one had the right tools to fix it anymore.
That phone was just like a Nokia, btw. Exact same Symbian OS, just with different media files and branding. (or at least, it looked like, so much so it hurt my young brain at the time)
There were photos of F1 cars on it by default. And a mini golf game that was awesome.
I was so sad when that phone got bricked. I don’t even tell you guys how I got that virus since it’s so embarrassing 😅
Also I almost got a ransomware on a freshly installed PC. I was lucky enough to notice something was wrong and I was able to stop it. Though, lots of folders have been infected (files have been created - the message that should have been displayed inside the virus’s windows I assume) and some files did get encrypted - but not deleted…
just olive oil and a bit of fresh lemon juice. I’m not that salad dressing kind of guy.
okay, you caught me, my .world profile was supposed to be my non-furry lemmy account.
