I’m a sound engineer, I have to go to concerts, it’s kind of my job.

I am all for a period of time, I do not think it should be at the death of the artist but a set time from creation date. Say 10-15 years, gives the artist time to make their money, while not locking the creativity behind money.

I took a different approach, I put my keys on a carabiner so I jingle when I walk. It makes it really hard to accidentally startle people.

My side hustle is real estate photography. Very flexible timing and I already had all the equipment. If I didn’t already own the equipment I wouldn’t have done it.

It’s not going to be over until one of them concedes which isn’t likely to happen quickly. So I’ll relax after Christmas.

I first heard of Pavlov from the game incredible machines, where if you dangle a banana in front of a mandrill (looks like a baboon to 6 year old me) he would run on the treadmill giving you power for your machines. So I always think of a baboon when I hear pavlov.

I was big into crypto at the very beginning. Lost a hard drive that now has about $8 million on it somewhere.

Mine is an odd one, she let the breakup be amicable. It’s never easy to breakup, but our relationship turned into a LDR with a 5 hour time difference. Long distance relationships are never easy but we were giving it an honest shot. Eventually we both knew it was time, but neither of us wanted it to end. When the idea was floated that this could be coming to an end she insisted that we don’t blame ourselves but rather the circumstances. Our last date was both of us updating each other’s dating profiles.

We’re still friends, we still talk, I was at her wedding a few years ago, and the man she’s with is an amazing man, I wish them the best. It was an issue of circumstance, not compatibility, and of all the relationships I’ve been in that is the only one that I do not blame either myself, or my partner for the breakup.

They could have run the actual orange fruit and I would have voted for that over the orange cry baby.

Tuesday’s for me because my optimism for the week was crushed on Monday but I have the rest of the week to go.

Well I’m in my 30’s and it hasn’t happened yet.

A self mowing lawnmower, it moved so randomly and was so specific for its operation parameters that I ended up just going back to manually mowing.

How do you think those speakers got there? Or the cables that are ran to them, or the stage getting setup, or the truck getting unloaded and reloaded? My job is 80% manual labor, 10% pulling random fixes out of my ass, 5% bullshitting, and only 5% actually pushing faders. As a sound engineer I’m only actually behind the console for 2-4 hours a week the rest is all the work required to sit behind the console.
