  • I feel like the actual “Average Capitalism Enjoyer” is someone making or reading memes online… On their phones.

The enjoyment of Capitalism is made ambient by simply owning stuff Capitalism has produced. However here we have to say some things: Not all the systems or technology that enabled this were done for Capitalism in today’s model, and most weren’t.

Society was a lot more creative and progressing much faster, and with more freedom before today’s system of survival Capitalism, with it’s prevelant race to the bottom morality which produces very little of value.

Another iPhone, space ship, data center, or 5 cent T-shirt with custom slogan… These are the articles of modern Capitalism. They contain very little to most people. No one wishes to live and die for these “rewards”, thus very few of us are enjoying this.

    The memes are broken.

  • This misapprehends the business models of techno feudalism: you operate at a loss, running on VC money which is fairly endless. You offer a freeish service to grow your brand. Then when you list on the stock exchange you live off debts loaned to you by the bank on the basis that your company is worth millions or billions.

I have no doubt ChatGPT is, and that Sam Altman lives with no taxable income to speak of. He’s just accumulating bank loans and paying them back with other bank loans secured by OpenAIs growing stock price and company valuation.

Money isn’t real to the elite classes. Actually I believe Stalin and Churchill once stopped at a Cafe sometime after WW2, they realised after their meal no one travelling with them had money on them to pay. Because they didn’t need money. It’s accepted when you’re at that level. Welfare Capitalism has existed for a very very long time.

  • Oh, sorry, I just saw the community is on .ml

…never mind, forget I said anything. Sure sure… Obama, Biden, Trump it’s all the same Capitalist Kabal… All equally likely to goto war because they’re the same systemic operatives. Even Xi is doing acts and shows with them… all part of the Capitalist illusion.

Don’t vote, just let Trump destroy America so a Socialist Vanguard will take over. Down with dems… Ect…

I’m sure Socialist argued none of these exact same points during the rise of Hitler and Fascism. Surely not. Yep, aw the first comment stated, it was actually Obama who ruined relations… Trump/Xi are just copying the same Capitalist song and dance. \s

  • Trump was the president before Biden. But also, Biden and Xi were meeting, talking, there’s several videos of these meetings. Both sides agreed they were on good terms and this whole sanction and blacklist wasn’t the focus of communications/relations.

So I think there was far less chances of war under other leaders (as my comment was saying). Judging from your last sentence you agree the chances of open hostility is far greater under Trump, but you have a strange was of saying it.

  • You know before America chose Trump, China and America were looking at an eventual amicable passing of the batton as far as who is the larger more important place of business, military, and finance…

…now it’s looking more and more like something less amicable will happen.

There’s only two ways super powers trade places in the ranks, peacefully or with a war… And I suspect the world will be greatly damaged if there’s a war between these two nations in particular.

China is no paper tiger anymore, and as for their fighting spirit, they had a civil war paused it when WW2 broke out (because both their sides hated the Japanese), then went back to their civil war after WW2.

It would be a rough fight.

Police in San Francisco have arrested a 20-year-old man after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the home of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, setting a perimeter gate alight.

Officers responded to a call in the North Beach neighbourhood of the city in the early hours of Friday.

While SFPD did not identify the man or the house that was attacked, a spokeswoman for OpenAI, the major artificial intelligence (AI) company behind ChatGPT, confirmed on Friday that the incident had occurred at Altman’s home.

A spokeswoman added that the same person had “also made threats at our San Francisco headquarters”.
