I just wish they would take their own words into account and ship with DDG or qwant as default instead of the default Google search engine…
DDG won’t pay them what Google does to remain the default search. It’s trivially easy to change it, though.
As long as Google pays most, it will stay as default search engine.

I haven’t used a lot of different browsers, but when I have tried to use others I have despised them (Chrome, Edge, a few others I can’t recall).
Waterfox is a neat, well-maintained Firefox fork.
