You can, but people believe you less than if you admit to being wrong.

Unless you said it out loud to the person you’re now admitting it to (or have some other means of showing your prediction before it actually happened), they probably don’t believe you.
A friend I watched The Price is Right with as a kid always said “I was going fir that answer” right after the answer was revealed
I was right, once, in my early twenties; but I haven’t voted Republican since then.
