    My issue is that by signaling openness to negotiate only serves to aid the US in their circus show of tryng to control oil prices.

    That’s reasonable though. As materialists we should know that no matter what they try to do to keep the fuel prices low, when the reserves finally run out there will be nothing that the empire can do to keep the veneer of normalcy we still have. At that point higher prices might be the least of their concerns.
