That depends on how long until the zionist entity finally collapses. I could see that occurring anywhere from several months from now to a couple decades, so unfortunately I can’t provide any solid predictions.

❗️Syrian Kurdish leader announces complete integration into US-backed state institutions

    Expand

Syrian Kurdish leader Mazloum Abdi announced that the integration of the Kurdish-led administration and its military, security, and administrative institutions into the official structures of the Syrian state is fully complete, effectively concluding the region’s pursuit of autonomy.

Speaking in Qamishli during an event marking the city’s centenary, Abdi stated that the move opens a “new phase” centered on political efforts to secure and cement Kurdish rights within the country’s national constitution.

The milestone follows months of intensive negotiations and a landmark agreement signed in January by Abdi and self-imposed Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa following clashes across the oil-rich northeast.

Under the implementation of the deal, government forces have entered key urban centers like Hasakah and Qamishli, while Damascus has assumed management of regional oil fields and the Qamishli airport.

Hmmmm, would you look at that, the SDF folding into the Syrian state, something they completely refused to do during Assad.

“What were they supposed to do?! They lost all arms support from the US!”

Says the western leftist, in a pitiful attempt to justify their support for an imperialist proxy.

    In response I say:

THAT WAS GOING TO BE THE OUTCOME FROM DAY ONE!

“Assadists” made this clear every single time the topic of Rojava came up. That their project was predicated on the Assad government existing, and without it, the US would dissolve them immediately, having got what it wanted. Their political project was reliant on how it benifeted US imperialism, therefore making their struggle against the interest of the global working class.

This, according to a basic leninist analysis, should have disqualified support from principaled Communists. Yet, reeking of moralism and chauvnism, western leftists plugged their ears and still expressed admiration for a literal imperialist occupation of a sovereign global south country.

It would be less infuriating if these folks just admitted that our analysis was correct with hindsight at this point. However they still cling on to this notion of Kurdish national liberation eventual ethnonationalism being this thing that every leftist must support. They even go so far into justifying how Kurdish factions in Iraq (who are significantly more aligned with the US and Israel) undermine the core of anti-imperialism in West Asia, the Islamic Republic of Iran.

They are so enamored by the aesthetics of class struggle, that they can not see the material reality of how it is occurring at this very moment!

Truly this fantasy, is a completely maddening display of revolutionary voyeurism.

❗️More than 1,500 ships stranded in Strait of Hormuz risk triggering global biological invasions

    Expand

More than 1,500 large commercial vessels stranded in the Strait of Hormuz following its closure on 28 February could trigger a global wave of biological invasions, according to a new study published in the journal Biological Invasions.

Prolonged stationary periods during peak spring and summer reproductive seasons have allowed extensive biofouling—consisting of marine microorganisms, algae, and invertebrates—to develop rapidly on the hulls of these ships.

Professor Mario Tamburri of the University of Maryland, the study’s lead author, told Anadolu Agency that the situation represents a “worst-case scenario”. When these vessels finally resume their voyages, they risk functioning as “super-spreaders” of invasive species to international ports, threatening both local marine ecosystems and global economic activities.

❗️Lebanon’s Hezbollah vows new US sanctions will not deter resistance activities

    Expand

Following the US Department of the Treasury’s amendment of Hezbollah’s legal designation and the imposition of fresh sanctions targeting its financial networks, the group issued a formal response.

Hezbollah stated that the measures—which accuse the organization of operating in service to Iran under the command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps—“will not deter us from adhering to the path of resistance and the right of Lebanon and the Lebanese to defend their land, sovereignty and resources.”

The resistance group emphasized that it maintains a proud, fraternal relationship with Iran, asserting in its statement that it “does not need anyone to vouch for its Lebanese identity and patriotism.”

Gotta scan 'em all: How Pokémon Go turned its players into Pentagon cartographers

Pokémon Go players supplied billions of street-level scans to Niantic’s mapping systems. Years later, the technology they helped build is being adapted for drones operating beyond the reach of GPS.

I’m posting this due to the military implications of it. Though frankly, I think this will have a larger effect on western populations then anything else. The imperial tactics are coming home.

❗️Report reveals state backed settler violence expanding across occupied West Bank

    Expand

Israeli human rights organization Yesh Din published a comprehensive new report detailing how Israeli settler violence has increasingly targeted Palestinian communities within Areas A and B of the occupied West Bank under direct state backing.

Titled ‘The Next Frontier: Violence by Israeli Civilians Against Palestinians in Areas A and B,’ the document reveals that over the past two years, Israeli settlers have systematically established outposts deep inside Palestinian territory with institutional support.

The data compiled by Yesh Din establishes a direct correlation showing that wherever new Jewish outposts are erected, intense violence immediately follows, encroaching directly into Palestinian villages, homes, and agricultural courtyards.

According to the findings, 63 percent of all recorded settler violence incidents against Palestinians in 2026 occurred within Areas A or B, demonstrating an organized policy aimed at cleansing the land of its indigenous Palestinian population.

    — 🇸🇦/🇾🇪 WATCH: Yemen’s Armed Forces have released a 10-minute compilation of targeting Saudi-backed troops, vehicles, and tanks in Marib and along the Western coast

All of these operations were carried out by munitions dropped from quadcopter drones. The Yemenis are surprisingly very accurate.

❗️Hezbollah official warns force is sole path to drive Israel from south Lebanon

    Expand

Senior Hezbollah official Nawaf al-Moussawi declared that military force is the only viable method to liberate southern Lebanon, asserting during an interview with Middle East Eye that negotiations alone will never convince Israeli occupation forces to withdraw.

Moussawi, who heads Hezbollah’s border and resources department, criticized Lebanese President Joseph Aoun for entering direct, US-backed talks with Tel Aviv without leverage or national consensus, warning that such diplomatic efforts are bound to fail.

Moussawi emphasized that the resistance movement has no choice but to continue fighting the occupying forces to secure the return of forcibly displaced communities, noting that Israel is currently battling a resilient new generation of fighters.

Addressing mounting domestic pressure regarding disarmament, Moussawi dismissed the feasibility of state or regional militaries confronting the resistance, maintaining that Lebanon’s security forces belong to the public and will not turn their arms inward.

❗️Drop in Iranian oil offers to Chinese buyers amid US blockade

    Expand

Offers of Iranian crude oil to Chinese buyers have experienced a significant decline alongside a sharp jump in prices, driven by the reimposition of the US blockade on Tehran’s shipping and ports.

According to a report by Reuters, the restrictions have severely constrained shipments from Iran, which serves as a primary source of hard currency for the country.

Trade sources highlighted by Reuters note that offers for September and October delivery cargoes to China have decreased as existing barrels on maritime vessels are progressively sold off.

Furthermore, ship-tracking data from Kpler indicates that Iran’s overall oil exports have fallen since mid-July, applying additional pressure on independent refiners in China’s Shandong province who frequently process sanctioned crude.

❗️Syrian Foreign Minister considers joining regional defense pact

    Expand

Syrian Minister Asaad al-Shaibani announced that Damascus is evaluating its options regarding the newly signed Makkah Joint Defense Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye, though no final decision has been made, according to Arab News.

Speaking to journalists during an official visit to Islamabad, Shaibani described the participating nations as vital regional partners, stating:

“As for the Makkah Agreement, we observed this agreement just as did all other countries, and we understand that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and Turkiye are very important countries in the region. Of course, we are studying our options. We don’t have a decision right now whether to join or not to join this alliance. This is something that will be kept for the future.”

❗️Over 20 high-profile actors and 200 cultural figures back international campaign for release of Marwan Barghouti

    Expand

More than 20 high-profile actors known for their roles in Marvel films and television series—including Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Ruffalo, and Don Cheadle—have signed an international statement backing the “Free Marwan” campaign.

The coalition calls on the United Nations and world governments to secure the release of long-imprisoned Palestinian leader Marwan Barghouti, citing grave concerns over his ongoing detention and reported mistreatment in Israeli detention.

The statement forms part of a broader cultural initiative supported by over 200 prominent figures from the worlds of film, music, and literature.

Other signatories with Marvel ties include Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, Tatiana Maslany, Daniel Brühl, Zawe Ashton, Emma Corrin, May Calamawy, Elliot Page, Ian McKellen, Hugo Weaving, Brian Cox, Dan Stevens, Rob Delaney, and Kingsley Ben-Adir.

Barghouti has spent over two decades in Israeli prison, having been convicted during the Second Intifada, and has endured increased torture and abuse at the hands of Israeli prison personnel.

    https://t.me/thecradlemedia/66588

Honestly I just posted this to briefly talk about the fact that Marwan Barghouti is most likely to be elected in the upcoming Palestinian elections (November I believe). This is of course barring the idea that Abbas pulls some political stunt to stay in power, which he will most likely attempt. Though to what success I couldn’t tell you, as Barghouti is far and away the front runner from what I’ve seen, followed by the new leader of Hamas, whose more than 10% behind last I checked.

Mind you, from what I was reading on that polling that was recently published, it should Also be said that like a third of Palestinians are not planning to participate in the elections, so those numbers come from those who do plan to and have made up their mind. There’s also a significant portion of people who have yet to decide.

Basically, Marwan Barghouti is most likely to be elected, however the logistics of how that would work is hard for me to understand. I don’t believe Israel will release him, nor could I really predict the consequences if they do not.

Although, considering he’s a two state solution supporter (not really saying much, as Hamas also arguably holds that position) I could imagine the US pressuring Israel to release him in the event they decide to throw Netanyahu under the bus. Essentially try to do the liberal zionist thing of santizing their image with a token gesture while still maintaining the colonization of Palestine.
