🇺🇸⚔️🇮🇷 Treasury Secretary Bessent says the US will unveil new sanctions on Iran next week, “unlike anything ever applied to a country’s economic isolation in history.”
Speaking to Newsmax, Bessent said the US is going to apply measures that have “never been seen” on Iran, adding “watch this space for more announcements coming next week.”
He described it as a combination of economic isolation “like the world has never seen before” alongside the continued blockade of the Strait of Hormuz aimed at stopping anything from entering or leaving Iranian ports.

This is an act of desperation. Iran has endured a decade of “maximum pressure” and a year of intermittent bombing, there is nothing bessent can do that will turn the pain up even 1%. Meanwhile every day america gets closer to its breaking point.
Pushing it towards further integration with BRICS and other non-west aligned institutions.
