▪️In an attempt to promote its narrative about the nutritional situation in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a map on 6 August accompanying claims about child malnutrition in Gaza that omitted southern Lebanon, depicting the area as part of “Israel.”

Besides the obvious ridiculousness of the implied situation, I find it hilarious they couldn’t even draw the map correctly. They show Gaza out in the middle of the Mediterranean, but in reality it borders Egypt.

🇸🇾🇷🇺⚡️ — Syria and Russia have signed a memorandum of understanding determining the future of the Russian presence at Hmeimim and Tartous after a year and a half of negotiations, according to Syria’s Foreign Ministry.
Under the agreement, Syria will begin restructuring Russia’s presence along the coast and assume control of civilian facilities, including at Hmeimim Airport and the fourth commercial pier at Tartous Port, gradually integrating them into civilian administration.
Russian military bases and facilities will meanwhile be transformed into joint training and qualification centers, with their functions redefined under a new framework intended to preserve both countries’ interests.
The transition is set to be completed within three months, after which the new arrangements will take effect.
