No unfortunately. They’re just a pro-“revolution” account on Telegram that reports on news in the levant. I thought they were an existing party at first but couldn’t find anything.

My guess is that they’re probably just some terminally online individual who picked a name based on their own eclectic beliefs.

I just use them cuz they provide more detailed reporting on Syria and the levant as a whole, which was missing from my posting here.

    🇮🇱 Israeli Security Minister Katz:

The security zone in the Gaza Strip is completely destroyed, with no houses left, and the same applies to southern Lebanon.

We have destroyed all the houses in 24 villages in southern Lebanon.

Veracity aside, somehow, they think this is a reasonable, good thing to claim in an official capacity. Ghoul country.

🇸🇾💣 — The internal security forces in Latakia announced the dismantling of an explosive device attached to a vehicle belonging to the Ministry of Defense. The device was discovered at a security checkpoint in the Haffa area. After establishing a security cordon and securing the site, the device was neutralized without any injuries or damage.

    Another Syria Rant

Unfortunately I don’t think any resistance in Syria is going to be successful. The majority of Syrian Sunni Arabs are more than content to let Alawites, Shi’ites, Druze, and Christians be butchered, Zionists occupy their lands right outside the capital, and Wahabbis rape their daughters after trafficking their wives, as long as the country is ruled by a Sunni.

The only way I see Syria being liberated from the Wahabbi nutjobs in power is if they’re fanatical stupid enough to pick a fight with the Axis of Resistance, which would be able to depose them. Unfortunately, I don’t think Jolani is that inept.

I think I’m starting to understand why Gusanos and other anti-communist diaspora feel in a sense. Watching the homeland of your parent be completely torn apart at the seems is both a depressing and rage inducing feeling. For the Gusanos, it must be a similar rage that fosters forever, because it’s been over a year now and I still feel an uncontainable fury about what’s happened in Syria.

I was there only a few times when I was young, sometimes too young to remember. But from what I can put together in my memory, it was beautiful.

And now I fear I’ll never be able to return…

Wahabbis rape their daughters after trafficking their wives, as long as the country is ruled by a Sunni…

So not an exclusively Western lumpenproletariat value. It makes me wonder how many wives of the upper echelon performed favors, or had ostensibly “secret” affairs in order to further a family/business objective, and I doubt it’s not that many. Children are certainly trafficked for that purpose, whether by matchmaking or literal trafficking.

The only way I see Syria being liberated from the Wahabbi nutjobs in power is if they’re fanatical stupid enough to pick a fight with the Axis of Resistance, which would be able to depose them. Unfortunately, I don’t think Jolani is that inept.

Did not the United States bring the Wahabbists to power in ksa?

And yet it’s always the abuser seen as the hero, rather than the perpetrator or instigator. Please never forget where responsibility lies.

—❗️🇺🇸/🇮🇷 Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Ismael Baqaei:

    – Iran is close to reaching an understanding with Oman on managing the Strait of Hormuz.

    – Reaching an understanding does not mean the Strait will be opened; it will remain closed until we deem it appropriate.

    – Iran did not request anything from the United States, and Trump backed down due to Iran’s military strength.

    – If the U.S. dares to commit a foolish act of aggression, our crushing response will affect the entire region.

Israel injures several Lebanese soldiers, civilians with strike on LAF convoy

The attack coincided with an escalation of Israel’s campaign of destruction, ethnic cleansing, and occupation in south Lebanon

    https://t.me/thecradlemedia/65460

UPDATE | In a notable reversal, the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) has now withdrawn its earlier statement that Israeli occupation forces targeted an army vehicle in Kafra, now saying a field inspection found the blast that lightly wounded five soldiers was caused by a “suspicious object.” The army said the incident remains under investigation.

    https://t.me/thecradlemedia/65461

I can’t tell if this is the Lebanese state being zionist comprodors or a legitimate case of misreporting.

🇸🇾🏦 — The Central Bank of Syria is extending the deadline for exchanging old currency by five days, starting from Sunday, August 2, 2026, until Thursday, August 6, 2026. This is to begin the phase of withdrawing these notes, which will last for five years after they lose their legal tender status.

    • Note: Even the new currency has no legal tender value outside of Syria and is not internationally recognized.

🇮🇶/🇸🇦🇺🇸 Details surrounding the recent Saudi-American strike that targeted Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces) headquarters days ago.

    Expand
    • The original Saudi plan was for a limited, symbolic strike aimed at sending a deterrent message rather than causing widespread human losses.

    • According to this account, Saudi Arabia obtained a list of targets through the American side, and the PM of iraq Ali-Zaidi was reportedly informed in advance that the response would be limited to specific locations.

⚠️ The information further indicates that Zaydi instructed relevant authorities to evacuate those locations before the strike. However, the question remains: did these instructions actually reach all targeted units? Did the head of the Hashd al-Shaabi, Faleh al-Fayyad, communicate this to all factions, or was the decision not fully implemented, or did a breakdown in communication prevent the instructions from reaching everyone?

    • This question is important because some locations were indeed evacuated, while others remained occupied.

What happened subsequently was not part of the Saudi calculations. Instead of a limited, symbolic strike, the operation resulted in bloodshed, which was reflected in the tone of the Saudi statement issued after the strike, which was an attempt to contain the political fallout and reduce tensions.

    • Politically, the strike has shifted the balance of power within Iraq. Prior to the strike, Zaydi had a clear advantage, based on anti-corruption campaigns, reform measures, and growing popular and regional support, which gave him more leverage to push for a policy of centralizing weapons under state control.

    • However, the strike has shifted the focus back to the factions and put Zaydi in a very sensitive position. Zaydi, who was trying to establish Iraq’s image as a reliable partner for the international and Gulf communities, found himself facing a strike that targeted Iraqi territory and caused casualties, which put him under significant political and public pressure.

    • Furthermore, it is reported that Zaydi, in anticipation of his upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia, requested a symbolic response that would maintain internal balance and reduce pressure. However, Saudi Arabia did not agree to this request.

    @SimurghRes

    https://t.me/SimurghRes/8478

TLDR, Zaidi got info from the Saudis that the strikes will be limited and symbolic, Zaidi gave orders to evacuate SOME PMF bases but not all of them were evacuated. This is either a miscommunication on part of Al-Zaidi and the head of the PMF or it was done intentionally by both of them.

🇮🇷| Iran says reports to reopen the Strait of Hormoz are false

A source close to the negotiating team told Fars that no agreement has been reached regarding the reopening of the Strait of Hormoz, and the reports regarding this, are false.

A well-informed military source also said that as long as the US continues its hostile actions, the Strait of Hormoz will remain closed, and vessels will only be allowed to pass through the designated route with authorization from the IRGC Navy.

—❗️🇺🇸/🇮🇷 BREAKING: President Trump says he has decided to cancel the attack on Iran:

‘The U.S.A. is locked and loaded and ready to go against the Islamic Republic of Iran, at levels of Military Terror, Strength, and Power not seen since World War II.

Despite this, we have just been asked by Iran, and other Middle Eastern Countries, to hold off any attack in that the perimeters of a deal has been agreed to. This would include the Immediate, Complete, and Total OPENING OF THE HORMUZ STRAIT, and an end to Iran’s nuclear threat.

Based on this request, I have agreed, for the future benefit of the WORLD and, likewise, the survival of a successful and prosperous Iran, to cancel the attack, subject to being able to rapidly make a DEAL. The Country of Israel joins me in this commitment. Get to work, everybody, and get it DONE. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP.’

❗️Columbia student workers union drops Israel divestment demand, pivoting away from Gaza solidarity campaign

    Expand

The Columbia University student workers union, SWC-UAW, has voted to withdraw its signature contract article demanding financial divestment from Israel, marking a major tactical retreat after months of deadlock.

Dropping the international law framework allows the union to narrow its bargaining focus to mandatory workplace conditions like compensation, bowing to pressure from federal labor rules and its parent organization.

This strategic pivot coincides with Columbia pressing ahead with the summer launch of its controversial global center in Tel Aviv.

While the union previously served as a central pillar of the campus pro-Palestine movement—championing the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) framework and fighting against dual-degree ties to Tel Aviv University—the latest concession signals an abrupt retreat from political demands as negotiators push toward a viable contract.

    https://t.me/thecradlemedia/65437

I fear if this is happening back at my old university. The Palestine struggle and the labor movement on campus were intertwined. The tendency of largely white labor organizers to throw international solidarity out the window is unfortunately very common in the US.

Saw this at my wife’s job just after they won their union contract. The more radical and many of the POC members wanted to do some anti-ICE community support. They were quickly overruled by the white majority.
