52K? I love how the protests were 2 days in january and yet the death toll is still going up over 1000 a week. Its just absurd.
It gets higher every time, and westerners will look at you like your a monster for saying it’s utter bullshit. The amount of times I see people say “The Islamic Republic executed communists” without interrogating that piece of history more is maddening as well.
A part of me wants to make a post about the Iran-Iraq War execution of Communists on GenZedong, but I never have had enough motivation to do so. I’ve commented on the MEK before, but I think it would be prudent for people to understand that period of the Iranian revolution more.
Even the lowest figure of 20K is absurd. Even the nazis with 10 times the man power, and all their victims locked up in camps and shipped by rail, didn’t kill 10,000 on their bloodiest days using industrialized murder contraptions. If the IRGC could hunt down wild protestors and kill 10k in a day with small arms they could have taken over the whole world by now.
