Analysis of MES — There is evidently a very limited suppression of Iranian missile bases currently. Iran is launching very freely, comfortably, and at a leisurely pace.
Why? Most importantly because Israel is not involved. Iran is huge, it’s impossible for the U.S. to suppress western and southern Iran simultaneously 24/7. Previously, Israel took care of the western areas in Iran.
Secondly, Iran is launching so many missiles and drones at U.S. bases that they themselves are being suppressed.
Muwaffaq Salti, Al-Udeid, Ali Al-Salem, these types of primary forward bases have been rendered pretty much useless at this stage of the war. The U.S. is now extremely reliant on its carrier fleet in the Arabian Sea.
Lastly, in many cases, U.S. aviation is being forced to carry out secondary duties like defending UAE / Bahraini / Saudi airspace from drone attacks, due to critically low interceptor stockpiles. This limits their availability for combat missions.

This is also quite telling; the last time Iran’s attacks against Gulf states were this intense, Tehran was under constant bombardment.
There hasn’t been a strike in Tehran for months, and most of western / central / eastern Iran is not being targeted at all.

Why does Iran not try to sink those ships? A sunken Destroyer or a Cruiser would be the best revenge for USA sinking the Iranain ship (I think it was a Frigate or a Destroyer) that was sunk on its return from the naval exercise in India
No idea unfortunately. I’m not a military minded person besides basic logistics so I could only speculate badly. My assumption is that Iran sees more value in punishing the gulf monarchs then doing direct damages to the US which could escalate things to a degree they may not want yet. Striking the GCC makes them more likely to eventually stop making deals with the US altogether, which is more of a medium to long-term goal for Iran.
I guess Iran understands they control the pace of this war, and dragging it out might make transitioning the region away from the US easier. Iran tends to be thinking in terms of the day after the war is something I’ve noticed.
Isn’t the war unpopular in USA? Sinking of a destroyer or a Cruiser would be a severe blow to Epstein Regime’s propaganda about Iran having lost all missiles or whatever.
What have the people of the US ever one to stop a war in a timely manner? At worst, it makes Trump look bad as the empire rages out against Iran, but in q couple years time he and his clique will likely be out of power, and the average Yankee will accept it as a new slate.
That being said, Iran has started to threaten to attack US Naval assets:

Seems like they are ramping up the tempo. I don’t think they will stop until the americans start giving in to their demands.
