      Only like 2% of Iran’s water comes from desalination plants and they are on usa’s target list whether Iran hits the gulfs desalination or not. They are already hitting civilian infrastructure and grain silos. It is just a matter of time till usa goes for their water systems unless Iran can change the tune. Destabilizing the uae and kuwaite by destroying their water would change how usa is able to attack.
