The Russian Federation is governed by nationalists and is certainly not socialist, but the CPRF is gaining tens of thousands of members every year and is rapidly increasing in ratio compared to United Russia support. Russia also does trade with socialist countries, and is working against western imperialism.

The CPRF controls over 50 seats on the State Duma and is rapidly gaining in support and popularity. Regardless of your opinions on how effective they are, they are rising.
