    I’m surprised the toy market & microtransaction industries are not aggressively fighting this. YouTube has been the primary way for them to reach kids for the past decade.

    FYI the last easy setup way to fix Youtube is Invidious or Pipepipe (Android app) with one of the main VPNs providing service through Thailand, there may be other regions. I won’t explain the cooler options because only I deserve them. I mostly use the fire and forget method of sending it to Seal (YTDL app). Anyways when they finally seal it off they will be doing us a favor

    So it’s off to PeerTube then, I guess? People could post the same video on both (yt and pt), and then on yt write something like “why not watch this on PeerTube instead?” although it’d probably get taken down.
