  • if you’re referring to climate change and i would expect that it would cause the 4th near human extinction event at a minimum; so there’s a chance humanity will survive and there will be some sort of a society if it does.

perhaps since we’ve exhausted most of the easily accessible sources of energy; maybe the next society won’t be able to advance past the next stone age on-wards to develop the industrial or technological capabilities that enable such absurd disparities in wealth they can afford to bend the entire world to their will for a genocide; rending 99% of the world helpless as they can do nothing but witness palestinians culled into numbers small enough that isreal no longer considers them a threat.

Harris is Palestines best bet at continued existence. Sorry if that hurts your feelings or something…

continued existence is going to happen one way or the other. isreal is going for an american style genocide which means kill enough of the natives so that they’re a small, manageable enough number and then your country can spend the rest of its existence throwing enough $$$ at their reservations to ostensibly show you’re “super sorry” that you genocided so many of them; but not enough to for them to ever escape this newly imposed generational poverty and also without any promise that your country won’t ever fuck them over again in the future when another pipeline needs to be built.

You’re getting down voted but this is what it feels like watching our gargantuan government help eradicate an entire people…

    – again.

sometimes the sense of helplessness that comes from watching us repeat the history that everyone abhors and ignores makes me wish that i was a moderate so that i can fool myself into believing that voting for one genocider was better than voter for another genocider.

i also wonder if my existence at the intersection of several vulnerable communities would eventually dispel that world view anyways if i were a moderate since there are so many brown, immigrant, gay, autistic conservatives.

I’ve installed Gentoo, fedora and Debian on powerpc and Intel Macs a couple times in my past.

The Intel Macs were no more difficult than Windows machines and the powerpc Macs required an extra step for yaboot and time to fiddle with an of the services; but still not difficult.

  • he looked past the asocial behavior caused by autism; the dirt poor immigrant background and sensibilities; and the entitled liberal world view to date and marry a fat, hairy, older, and poor man anyways and that was no small thing for a solidly middle class, cultured, and mainstreamly beautiful man to do in the gay world; he was a living, breathing unicorn.

if i had my choice he would still be here by my side; but he was deported since i couldn’t sponsor him for citizenship due to doma

  • I would love for her to come over and fully denounce Israel. But the politics of the situation don’t allow for it. She’s not tarred in the same way as Biden and she’s going to stay neutral as long as she can.

i’ve assumed this is why she had to meet with netanyahu in private after he addressed congress; something of an overture to those who boycotted it.

and i wish she had less of biden’s political tar on her so that i could be happy w the statement released after that private meeting to nudge that voting needle towards kamala instead of west or stein.

  • the person you’re responding to is making the generic liberal assumption that biden’s policies are too far progressive to ever hurt anybody’s life and trying to make the point that i’m being dismissive of what trump and republicans are trying to do.

i have receipts so i already know that they’re merely towing the party propaganda line; but thank you nonetheless for articulating these points.

  • legit answer:

their lives will be slightly less impacted than mine thanks to biden, clinton, both bushes & obamas’ support for executive order 10450; don’t ask, don’t tell; defensive of marriage act; student loan debt; draconian immigration policy & blocking truly affordable EV’s with tariffs.

i’ve had the joy of experiencing my life partner deported; my life along with my livelihood dismantled; arrested for simply being brown, gay & willing to stand up for myself; losing multiple jobs because of those laws; and then trapped into inescapable debt until i die because of those & policies laws that every single one of those guys fully supported (and created) up until they needed my vote.

if they’re not american; then they get to experience genocide and a coup d’etat’s; all fully supported by those same people.

if you’re referring to project 2025; then you should know that it’s been in existence since 1980 and every single one of those politicians; especially biden; have enacted nearly 75% of project 2025’s recommendations since then; it’s not the boogeyman that they told you to be afraid of.
