I’m currently visiting Brazil for the second time, already making plans to come back and live here. Find a fully remote job, sell off what I don’t need, anger my mother in the process. It’s a big, big change, Brazil isn’t perfect but at least there’s good food and fiance’s family is very welcoming towards me.

Money and a means of having support for my PTSD-addled self. I struggle trying to take care of myself, so I’d be enough of a burden on the state to make my emigration quite difficult.

don’t feel like a “burden on the state”, its literally why we pay tax.

not quite but you catch my drift, if you need it, everyone is better off if you use it.

Last time I looked at the requirements for emigrating somewhere (somewhere in Europe, forget which country) it mentioned that I’d need to be able to support myself financially. At the moment I desperately need to work through a lot of past trauma and run through therapy for PTSD, I’m not well enough to work a regular day job.
