  • Your money is given to a man. That man gives it to nazis.

You: but he’s the middle man! That means he can do whatever he wants with the money I give him, and even though I know he’ll give it to nazis, I’m fine with that! In fact, I’ll give him MORE money! The left is so indoctrinated for thinking my actions are wrong! It’s CANCELLING someone if you refuse to given them money! Being mean to a nazi supporter by refusing to give him my money is the REAL fascism!

It’s gross to specifically seek out someone specifically because they’re shy and with mental issues. Men who target people who are vulnerable are usually looking for someone easy to manipulate. Same thing as the “looking for someone a little autistic” trend. Or before that, “looking for a girl with anxiety”. They want the power and none of the responsibility of dealing with the downsides of the mental issue. Red flag behavior.

ib4 the downvotes: I’m not the only one who noticed this bs and there’s a rabbit hole of discourse on this trend online.

  • I agree that there is no free will, but to act as if that is true is pointless. Nihilism isn’t useful. If it makes you feel better, you are doing what you would have done regardless even if there was free will. I don’t think the fact every action is predetermined matters much. If anything, it makes me have compassion for the worst people, who arguably were fated to be what they are because of the domino effect.

I often wonder if the dominos will ever fall in a way that guarantees us all a positive outcome. Can we heal our monsters? So that every domino thereafter creates no more?

    ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Poetically, you are the universe trying to understand itself.

  • Mentioning the obvious things: Remember that depending on your location, you will not get full sunlight everyday of the year. The orientation of your roof and whether it’s pointed toward the sun also matters. If you have any young trees around you, they might grow and cast a shadow on your roof. If you have neighbors, they might plant trees.

You can use Project Sunroof to roughly estimate the average sunlight your location receives during a full year (accounting for weather conditions): https://sunroof.withgoogle.com/

  • I just use this god-tier free, open-source app: https://hydrusnetwork.github.io/hydrus/index.html

It’s called Hydrus Network, and it’s like an organized database for managing your pics, videos, and more.

Features include: tagging images, adding notes to images, saving urls for images, searching your collection for duplicates and letting you compare them to keep the highest quality image, dark mode, meta tags, and more.

It’s literally one of my top 5 most essential apps to my life, and it’s so unknown. I feel like a cultist because I’m always harping on about how great Hydrus Network is and no one knows about it.
