That’s it?
That’s it?
Oh, go figure. I thought a Steam Deck was a handheld device running off of a battery. Yeah, if you’ve got a desktop computer with a high-wattage GPU you’d expect better performance on the latest AAA graphics, huh? Weird. Cannot possibly be worthwhile to own, I guess.
Too low to the ground, they might be able see a child in front of them.
Both phone calls and emails are so full of ad-ridden garbage that they are useless for communication.
Texts are better signal-to-noise ratio, for me it is more like only 1% con artist identity thieves compared to the 99% coming via phone call.
I would get banned from their instance for saying I approve of people physically fighting Nazis. It would be nice to have more people to fill out niche communities though.
I’m sure the next size up will finally discover the radiant frequencies that my crystals are resonating to.
That’s relatable. I get plenty of downtime during the day but not in long enough stretches to focus on something like that. Society is upside-down. We should be working far fewer hours and spending more time doing hobbies.
That local politician sounds like an interesting character. I love that response instead of just trying to talk their way around it. I can see why that would inspire a story.
Did you happen to publish that in some format? It sounds like a good read.
I’ve been thinking of a similar thing, delegating votes to people you trust. Delegation should be transitive, of course. I think it would also be neat to delegate by category or topic.
I also like the idea of being active with it. I like to imagine someone needs to maintain a certain approval level or be removed, so people have recourse to act if they aren’t being listened to.
You will 100% not profit from a timeshare.
I like that we can escape from site admins. There’s some profound magical thinking going on at lemmy.ml. But I have unsubscribed to all their communities. I haven’t yet blocked it entirely but I could do that too.
The suggestion I took was Ugreen for chargers and cables. Cables seem to work, and don’t instantly fray, that’s all I want. I got a compact GaN wall plug and it is reasonably fast for the size. No fires and no fried electronics so far.
I appreciate it. I’m trying to find an ereader now and I can cross them off the list. I wish I had leapt on the Pine64 one while it was in stock but I desired the color screens too much.
Anker is off my list because of the cameras. They used to be my go-to for cables and chargers. Completely unacceptable.
Aren’t all of those just fake images the government displays on the dome LCD covering the world inside ice walls? If they were real they would have dropped out of the sky already.
Bored people give themselves a bunch of painful shocks and when that isn’t enough to feel alive they increase the amperage of the shocks. Really the perfect metaphor of all of us using doomscrolling on social media.
I have considered exactly this before but held off suspecting that it would bother neighbors below. Looks like it ruins the lives of everyone in the building. Glad I didn’t set one up.
I am using Logseq and the organization is basically the only thing not working for me. I will try this out.
