According to my government I’m the lackey of Soros, getting paid to make our kids gay and bring migrants into the country. It honestly starts to sound like a good deal, especially when I look at the paycheck I get at CPS

I went to uni for five years and at the end of each year, when summer break finally came I never felt liberated or light. I felt empty. My days and weeks were full of exam prep and work and suddenly, there was nothing. My brain went “Now what?” everytime. Give it a few days.

Keep your promises and be predictable. Predictability and clear rules and consequences create a sense of security and it will make it easier for them to comply. Treat them with respect, they are small, not stupid. Treat them kindly but firmly, what they want isn’t always what they need.

You also might want to talk with the parents about this, they know their kids best and can give specific advice. What works with one kid, might not work with the other.

I know this has been said a lot for questions like this, but it’s still true: the answer to your problem lies in seeing a psychologist. Probably no need for psychotherapy but some counseling could help you sort these things out
