I am under the impression that Signal encrypts metadata so that is useless to sell. The only thing they can turn over to law enforcement after a lawful warrant is the phone number an account was opened with (and maybe the date that happened) and the date of the last time the account was used. The salmon seasons on the US West coast have been essentially non-existent for a couple of years. The Abalone season has been suspended for over 5 years. Both of those meats are absolutely amazing, especially when you prepare and eat them the day you caught them. I miss those two the most.
We had a cat when I was in high school named Clyde. Great indoor/outdoor cat. Highly illegal lots of places with the argument (much like having a baseball bat in your car and using it on someone - “why do you have a baseball bat with you but no glove, cleats, baseballs, uniform etc?”). So… “why do you have a dangerous liquid made for a specific purpose on you and used in a non-labeled manner?” Mace, pepper spray, even bear spray should not do permanent damage to an attacker. Wasp-type spray can blind someone for life. Malicious wounding is a serious felony almost everywhere.
