Unlike a platform like Amazon marketplace, where you have Amazon processing the payment, and providing a fair bit of guarantee, this would be the wild west since anyone, anywhere could spin up an instance and start defrauding people and stealing their card info. Hell, even just flooding bogus listings would severely cripple usability.
