  • Some people aren’t able to imagine or consider other peoples’ experience, they assume that the way they would act is the way everyone would act. They’re projecting. When you encounter people like that I find the best thing to do is realise that they are telling on themselves, and then scroll on and ignore what they have to say (or block them, if it’s really vile). Because it isn’t relevant to me (or you), it’s 100% about them and we are not obligated to care what some random stranger has to say about themselves… ¯\(ツ)

  • I think the problem is with how close you’re getting to stranger’s assholes if you can tell from smell how they clean them (and I say this as someone with severe sensory processing disorder who can smell everything - I have never, ever smelt anyone and thought “that’s shit, they must not have a bidet”. Ever. The fact you have is significantly more gross than the ass cleaning habits of strangers).

  • When I first heard of beehaw I had really high hopes and was genuinely excited about the idea of a safe space for marginalised people, but when I saw this being framed as “be nice” without exception or nuance a bunch of red flags started waving, to paraphrase - “you can’t be nice to everyone, because being nice to certain people is inherently cruel to others”, and I was soon proven right in my concerns, with sprinkles on top - beehaw is a typical liberal (not leftist) space, where criticism of the status quo or swearing at bigots and bootlickers is seen as “not nice”, but “polite” bigotry or even genocide denial are a-ok (those being the tankie-sympathising sprinkles I was referring to)…

Good luck to you I guess, but having already blocked your domain, you won’t be missed, not by me anyway. ¯\(ツ)
