0·2 years agoHow do you use SingleFile? As a personal archive? (Just curious!)
I ended up just disabling that notifications channel cuz I don’t care that much it it fails in the background.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•To those with 2+ monitors on your machine: What's your use case, and how much does it actually boost your productivity?
2·2 years agoTwo monitors is the absolute minimum, but I think three can be very useful.
On one, I have reference materials, on one I have code, and on one I have the application I’m developing. I think it makes for a pretty good workflow.
I should say I’m more interested in a good multi-device sync than long-term backup, so that sounds good for Proton.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Recommended YouTube videos without Google's algorithm
0·3 years agoIs the Grayjay home feed based on recommendations? And if so, is that true even if you’re not logged in with YouTube credentials? Thanks!
EDIT: I think this is the answer from the FAQ.
Why is my home feed filled with random videos? Grayjay does not track you out of the box. For this reason, platforms do not know what content to show you. If you want more personalized content you will need to login to the platforms.
