Well fuck that bird. Still, I only lost a couple of weeks’ progress that time.

Good science isn’t just in a lab. Birdwatchers are some of the biggest contributors to citizen science. :)

Things like eBird and iNaturalist have been pretty revolutionary for data collection and modelling and any and all data is valuable and will be used.

That’s the thing. Everything IS science. I’m here to get people talking about it. Artifically aesthetically boxing it is what drives people away from learning. Play is the mother of all education.
The Game is big time science. Pretty sure that the inventor won 4 Nobel prizes for it.
I don’t count loosing the game via a random meme. It misses the intent, to loose one must think of the game on their own. If you loose whenever someone randomly shouts all about it trying to force people to loose - thats just lame.
