communism: being the most feared thing since marx lived
In the antabellum South within the USA it was argued that slavery would protect the country from Socialism, and apparently this was before Marx. Even when our movement was just a concept it terrified the ruling classes.
The word “our” is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence.
