Israeli occupation forces launched a fresh incursion into Syria’s Quneitra province according to news agency SANA, entering the village of Western Samdaniya with multiple vehicles, raiding a home, and detaining a civilian before withdrawing.

Simultaneously, Israeli occupation forces advanced into neighboring Daraa province near the villages of Maariya and Al-Ardah in the Yarmouk Basin.

These incidents follow months of recurring incursions, arrests, and checkpoints in southern Syria that intensified after the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government in December 2024, when Israel declared the collapse of the 1974 disengagement agreement and seized the Syrian buffer zone.
