With ships still daring to take the southern route in the Strait of Hormuz, it’s only a matter of time until the script that brought down the MoU is replayed. Iran will continue blocking and striking ships that refuse to comply. US capital will continue to see oil supplies dwindle while its cost goes up, and demand action. The merchants of death will be all too eager to continue, if only to maintain the windfall that war provides.
These combined with the US being aware of its declining hegemony all but ensure its attacks will continue…unless of course Iran completely capitulates.
At some point, the Oil reserves will run dry, and at that point I think we’re going to be in some unprecedented territory.
