    All private ownership of land is deeply morally suspect. Nobody made that valley, someone was violent enough to make a claim stick. Usually several people, over a long period.

    Okay but what if my great great grandparents stole the car, passed it down ever since, and I’ll be homeless without it.

      Landback and decolonization. Because your great great grandparents stole the car, the people it was stolen from have been subject to generational poverty, genocide, and slavery that impacts them today, while you sustain a generational benefit. It needs to be rectified.
