If there really was enriched uranium there it seems likely to be a radiation attack by the colonists to kill anyone who gets in close to the area, even if it takes sometime…
I mean are there any obvious reasons to look sideways at it that a journalist might be unaware of. If there are none, I see no reason to doubt it. Scientists have raised alarms about US control of nuclear monitoring orgs for ages. (tehran times not loading rn but that happens a lot lately sry) Why shouldn’t we err on the side of caution? Main country that did research on small-scale deniable nuclear weapons to work with their institutional capture.
Aside from TR using the most lib sources possible here that do nothing but fantasize about reforming orgs that will not hear them out for “natsec” reasons. These ppl aren’t telling us not to be concerned abt it just wait for epistemological levels of proof
