    They better get serious soon, before it is too late, because when that happens, there is NO TURNING BACK, and it won’t be pretty!

    This gives the impression that he knows HE is the one who is fucked. But then again, he has a history of always seemingly living outside of reality. Maybe he truly believes his own words.

      It seems that his generals might be lying to him about how the war is going, so he might actually believe at lest part of this.
