In all seriousness the US’s consistent inability to maintain any form of narrative on this war must be studied. Trumps regime has gutted almost any form of free press in the US these last few years, down to threatening to revoke broadcast rights of anyone telling lies (see the truth) about his Iran war. And even with all that they’re too fucking thick to maintain a United front on literally anything.

There was barely any free speech in the US anyway, as far as reach is taken into consideration. This is nothing but the neoliberal contradictions of Capital taking shape.
