    Depends on the zone.

In Texas where I lived… you get snakes. BIG snakes. And fun things like ninja bug swarms, wasp colonies, black widows, and such.

There aren’t a lot of wet leaves in Florida with so many palms or evergreens, but if you do leave them, you get disease and parisites, especially if its up against your house. Like, all the native plants in your yard will start dying. And it’s definitely not safe to step in.

Ok but please clean your sidewalks, people. Don’t use the environment as an excuse to be a bad neighbor. We still need to use the sidewalks.

What’s up with h all the hate for Friends these days? It’s a simple feel good comedy that got laughs, why hate on that?

    I loved friends, still do

I’ve come to realize over the years that most TV is problematic, but you can still be consciously aware of it and still enjoy what you like within that context. I think it’s worse if you watch it, but have no idea that it’s problematic. My dad watches big bang theory sometimes, and that show is incredibly misogynistic for laughs. He has no idea, he thinks the humor is normal. He just takes a lot of that stuff in completely unexamined. My point being, if you are consciously aware of something being problematic, it makes your consumption of it more responsible.

I don’t like it, but it’s plenty well written, it’s obvious why people like it. I think people just like to hate on things they don’t like, it can be fun to be negative with no substantial harm, like complaining for fun.

You mean like complaining on the Internet about a throwaway joke in a webcomic?

The Friends dig was just a utilitarian punchline for the comic to add some comedy to the informative nature of the first panel. I dunno why people take things to heart so much when there really are so, so many better shows than Friends. The comic doesn’t even say that Friends is bad, just that there’s better. Show viewing options have expanded and improved a lot since 1994.

I stopped raking years ago, and have started seeing fireflies again.

My neighbours hate it, but honestly, I’ve never understood raking in the first place. It’s autumn, and leaves are natural. What’s with the obsession to make lawns look like artificial carpeted spaces?

The leaves look nice imo. Better than a scalped layer of dying grass.

I recently got into FRIENDS purely cuz it’s cozy. But it’s hard to reference it without looking a little behind.

“OHHHH ROSS AND RACHEL I GET IT NOW!!!”

I rewatched it couple of years ago and I think it’s still funny and not that dated. The only thing I didn’t like was the laugh track.

The morals of characters in ‘Friends’ make me wonder why it’s ‘Seinfeld’ and ‘Curb’ that are considered questionable.

OHHHH ROSS AND RACHEL I GET IT NOW!!!"

My older brother watched Friends every single night, rerun after rerun. Ross and Rachel are the reason I immediately dislike any “will they / won’t they” plots when watching a new show.

I just feel bad about all that sleep you’re gonna miss wishing you were with me!

Oh, no, no, no, don’t you worry about me “falling asleep.” I STILL HAVE YOUR LETTER!
