I also object of retoactively using the term fascism for anything dating before Benito Mussolini, as he kind of coined the term. Any use of the term before that is couterfactual. Ethno Nationalism is a more proper term.

Israel’s implementation of zionism is as far removed from the ideal as America’s implementation of democracy. Neither utopia worked out the way it might have if the humans in it were better people.
Zionism is a religious and political movement to reclaim Palestine for the Israeli people and views that land as inherently belonging to Jewish people because God said so.
That belief alone is not enough to call it a genocidal ideology. However, because Zionists overwhelmingly “reclaim” the land by terrorizing the current inhabitants, it’s not that much of a stretch.
