Milk bottles are still imperial sized, but funnily I more often hear people say “big milk” '& “small milk” rather than pints.
It’s actually a real mix. Actually look at the milk you buy, some shops will do half litre, litre etc bottles some will do pint, 2 pint bottles. I’m pretty sure they’ll be priced the same. Clever little bit of shrinkflation where 0.5 litres is 68ml smaller.
I’m 38 and I use stone because that’s what I was taught as a kid. Metric for all other weights though.
Super green
Just because it’s safe doesn’t mean it’s the best we have right now.
A combination of solar, wind, wave, tidal, more traditional hydro and geothermal (most of the cost with this is digging the holes. We’ve got a lot of deep old mines that can be repurposed) can easily be built to over capacity and or alongside adequate storage is the best solution in the here and now.
You could probably label the whole thing mental illness as what we’ve actually been able to detect makes up about 5% of the universe.
What was the expansion pack where you could play as aliens called?
That’s where the high level of communication and society comes in. Not every individual needs to be great at all of it.
We really do break the balance of the game. Aimed accuracy of throwing things, high level detailed communication and social interaction, that same vocal range means we can imitate animal sounds to trick them into running off cliffs, can literally run animals to death, very high level intelligence allowing planning and tool use.
One or two of these would make us an op apex predator.
Ok, but wouldn’t it be an adventure if octopuses could do the same.
Would you even need a monthly plan for this kind of thing? It just needs to be able to install the app and run it. If it needs internet you can connect to WiFi. You can get a sim free android for about £50 outright now.
Cries in Tory Brexit.
It would technically be the fifth law.
Zeroth Law - A robot may not injure humanity or, through inaction, allow humanity to come to harm.
Where does the red wood fit in on this?
Honestly, it’s my favourite Star Trek film.
Is that a Master and Commander reference?
It’s not a planet.
But you’d die before before weighing yourself.
Would have been a better end panel IMO.
It’s the same as people using the example of the Y2K bug being a non event. Yeah, because globally trillions of dollars were spent fixing it before it became an event.
I hear it’s good for the French Disease.
You missed the “and” in the comment you were replying to. They can do fsd or they could do cheap. Not both. Though, to be honest I doubt they can do either.
