It sounds like you don’t like pop music. 1989 is an objectively good album. I don’t know anything else about any of her other music, but that single album is DENSE with well executed main stream pop.
Having said that, should tickets to see her be as expensive as they are? Should people be as obsessed with her as they are? No on both counts.
That analogy breaks down as Germany isn’t the only nation founded as a refuge for Christians and only Christian majority country whose official religion is Christianity.
There is a closer tie between Israel and Judaism than any other nation and a single religion. For that reason, I think it’s important to make a distinction between the two. Treating either as interchangeable for the other is, in my opinion (as a Jew), antisemitic.
For example, I am disgusted by the concept of Zionism and have been opposed to all of the historical faith/culture/ethnic based aggression against Muslim people by Jewish people, especially everything that has happened as a disproportionate response to Oct 7th. I think the actions of the IDF are genocide and they should be treated no differently than other armed forces who have committed genocidal acts.
On the other hand, while I don’t practice any of the faith based acts or observe any of the traditions or restrictions of Judaism, I absolutely love the core of the religion, which focuses (as most faiths do) on treating others as equal to yourself, but also on questioning the lessons of the past and trying to consider all interpretations of it.
Yeah, the warp pipe Easter Egg was was sold me on this type of build. I really hope we get to see more non-minifig scale mocs that do this type of fan service. As I was putting it together I was trying to figure out what the hell I was building, and when it clicked? Oh man! I love showing the secret to guests.
On a similar note, the 25th anniversary Millennium Falcon has a few Easter eggs, but you only get to appreciate them during the build. Opening the Falcon up to take a peek isn’t an option.
What I didn’t realize about Columbo until watching it last year is that every episode is basically a full movie. There’s no connection between each episode, Columbo himself is the only recurring character. Each episode is an hour 10 to an hour 40 long. Also, it’s by FAR the best production and acting on TV in that era. It’s legitimately like almost 70 individual films.

Having just turned 43, I can tell you that I don’t think I became an adult until my early/mid 30s.
Taking your initial post and this comment into consideration, you may be in a situation I find myself in (or I may be projecting, who knows). I started out with some regular ass depression and threw in what was originally some recreational weed consumption. After a while I found myself as a daily weed smoker. My partner seems to have a much different experience as a daily smoker than I do. For me it manifests itself as you are describing, just a lack of excitement about life. I feel like my weed hangover isn’t like an alcohol one, but rather it saps my motivation to do anything productive that I’m not being held accountable for. If I was also unemployed and unable to find a job, I’m sure it would be worse for me. At the moment, I’ve cut back on my consumption and am making it a point to only partake on weedkends. Pairing that with more exercise has worked well for me in the past, but I find it difficult to get in the exercise habit with that low level of motivated energy. Finding a form of exercise where you don’t notice the work you’re doing is also helpful. I don’t much like basketball, but a friend of mine invited me out to fuck around and shoot hoops with them. Probably the easiest time I had getting in some cardio without realizing it. Nowadays, I’ve got a rowing machine that I use while I watch streaming shows. I usually find my lust for life returning when I’ve put in the maintenance on the machine that is my body. It’s a lot easier to feel alive when you feel alive.
