Not quite what you were asking for, but there is https://tomgroenwoldt.github.io/helix-shortcut-quiz/
It’s quite good for letting you know about things you didn’t know you could do, but sometimes it tells me I’m wrong because I’d do it a different way - e.g. I’d go to line 13 by
:13but it wants13G.Also, from within Helix you can do
space ?to get the list of commands and any bindings they’re on.edit: also, FYI Helix and similar are modal, not modular (although there is a plugin system on the way).
Not funny, but interesting!
I see! Great work, along with plenty of others in your post history.
Is this unedited, or did you bring out that contrast in post?
This is an amazing shot. Do you have any more information, like the artist?

Rust Programming@lemmy.ml•Which code style to initialize structs?English
0·2 years ago100% the second one. It’s the idiomatic way to do this in Rust, and it leaves you with an immutable object.
I personally like to move the short declarations together (i.e. body down with language_id (or both at the top)) but that’s a minor quibble.
what fucked up tumblr subculture has my shitpost reached
I’ve never been on tumblr and just assumed the whole site was like that.

Firefox@lemmy.ml•Vimium like plugin for firefox with favicon support?
0·2 years agoI’ve been using Vimium C, but as it’s based on Vimium it may have the same problem.
After duffing the ball all over the golf course, I sat on my duff, ate some duff, drank too many Duff beers, then some duffer threatened to duff me up because he thought I’d got his sister up the duff. After this duff day, I went into the woods and lay in the duff.
I’d second Mozilla sync, especially as you can self-host the server.
When all you have is an imaginary hammer, everything looks like a rotation around the imaginary unit circle.
Explanation of maths
x = -10, i = √-1 so i² = -1 and 10i²=-10
designing something that Mozilla and Meta are simultaneously happy with is a good indicator we’ve hit the mark.
I think that’s true. I trust Mozilla, based on their statements and their actions, and I distrust Facebook for those same reasons. Compromise is the only path forward, despite those who argue we should reject anything that’s not perfect.

I love fungi facts.
This was my face when I foolishly asked my maths teacher what pi was - he spoke for a long time, I understand nothing and I was late to my next class.
I’m not a teacher, but I’m so ready for a kid (or anyone) to ask me this so I can do a better job. Ideally somewhere I can get hold of coins because who carries those any more?
What’s this kind of thing called in linguistics? Where you parse the sentence wrong (for comedic effect in this case), something about dangling modifiers, maybe?
CNLabelContactRelationYoungerCousinMothersSiblingsSonOrFathersSistersSon The label for the contact’s mother’s sibling’s younger son or father’s sister’s younger son.
I thought it was just a male cousin, but it doesn’t include a cousin who’s your uncle’s son. Which culture needs this?

Have they taken out the AI generated papers? We know that training LLMs on LLM-generated text leads to an absolute collapse in quality, and we also know that AI has been showing up in papers so if they haven’t, then this will be quite unreliable.
