Alaska, a red state, is reportedly trying to remove their rank choice voting. This isn’t a “Dems” problem, it’s a two party problem.

This is a counter to the Democratic party supporters you see everywhere who always get irrationally upset at third party voters, not about Republicans.

The point is, if the Democratic party never plan to address it, then how will it ever get done through voting Dem? The same goes for all the other issues people claim we should ignore in the name of “vote blue no matter who”, including their genocide.

“we will push Democrats left by giving them what they want and not even allowing anyone to criticize them” ~ Blue MAGAs solution to the rise of fascism.

    And

“We will push netanyahu left by giving him what he wants and not even allowing anyone to criticize him” ~ Democratic partys solution to an existing fascist Genocide.

    At least it’s a consistent ideology… of appeasement…

Dems are still far better for the US though

I wish they didn’t support Isreal with weapons but here we are

I genuinely don’t understand how y’all say this with a straight face. You can’t justify genocide with any other policies. It’s literally just “atleast Mussolini made the trains run on time” fascist apologia.

You are in the “in group” for the Democrats right now so you aren’t being harmed. That doesn’t change the fact they have a harmful ideology that pushes and normalizes fascism and genocide, and it doesn’t protect you in the long run to support/ encourage those sentiments. You just normalize them and strengthen them for the opponent to use, “first they came for…”.

(…I was going to use the harsh border/immigration policies to make a comparison at first, but unfortunately these policies and sentiments have already been co-opted and normalized by the Democrats as well…)

  • I think it’s good she can’t stop saying it. The voters deserve to know that she supports the genocide and to decide for themselves if her support for said genocide of Palestinians is worth whatever other comforts she provides the voter as a group.

It’s right for people to feel strongly about support for a genocide so the focus shouldn’t be on not “upsetting that crowd” by lying, but on either not engaging in genocide (she’s eliminated this option) or on convincing them that supporting a genocide is worth what else she has to offer.

(Inb4 whataboutism over Trump, yes he sucks too and is also genocidal, that doesn’t make Harris not pro-genocide and I never said to vote for Trump.)
