Yup. He wasn’t very attractive (but not ugly either), but was very good at talking to people. Go to bed reasonably early. The thing to watch/code/play will be there tomorrow. If you want to go out at night, do it on weekends. As for waking up, I’m used to it now (and my alarm clock app makes me solve a math problem to shut up :)) but long ago when I had trouble waking up, I’d put the alarm clock on a table on the other side of the room so I’d have to get up and walk over to shut it off. By the time that was done, blood is flowing and I’m awake.

A retro gaming podcast is actually probably more my style than the other two podcasts listed. So, have another subscriber…

Just commenting to give more love to helix. It’s my favorite “small quick edits” editor.

It’s pretty good for very early software. A bit more work and I’d probably use it.

Linux on desktop, server, and laptop. Windows VM for a few things. Android on my phone and kindle.

Xfce. It does what I want it to do and little else.

Hawaii. I used to live in Florida and while it has some pretty places and neat things, most of it is generic grubby little towns, trailer parks and lots and lots of rednecks. And most of isn’t very tropical.

Plus, Hawaii has volcanoes, which are always cool.
