The chat bot just assumes it’s in the context of active war. Not that there isn’t even a war. There are no active combatants or “effectively surrendering” combatants. There is just people accused of a crime they may, or may not, be guilty of… and missiles.

Even if it was in the context of a war it would be a crime, but there isn’t even that context. It’s murder, arguably worse than war crime, it’s crime, and one of the worst crimes there is.

What does it say about stealing boats? Again without the context of being in a war…

Giving random people the death penalty, for maybe or maybe not committing a crime that even if it turns out they were, doesn’t even qualify for the death penalty in either the country they are from or the country that is killing them… is so far beyond crazy… it shouldn’t have been able to happen once, let alone keep happening.

And if that wasn’t crazy enough, people that survive the strikes, can’t be legally brought in because the burden of proof isn’t met to even question them… but killing them is happening?

Just so anyone that had to suffer through this knows, the company that makes them, that you have to order them through, always makes sure to remind buyers that they will likely need at least 10% left handed ones too. Because, of course, they made left-handed ones. If your school didn’t have left-handed ones or didn’t have enough, that was a choice they made.

A lot of it is the difference between learning practically and learning theoretically. You don’t have to understand the underlying mechanics in practice to know how to keep getting the same result. Your brain doesn’t have to be doing any math, it just has to have shaken a bottle enough times to have a good comparative basis formed.

Learning to calculate the current remaining volume in a container when observing someone else shake it… that would use all that theoretical knowledge and math.

It’s like knowing how hard you have to throw an egg at a wall for it to break instead of bounce off. You do it 100 times, you just get a good feel for it. Doing all the math, and then trying to learn it practically is barely gonna affect how quickly you learn it in practice. But if you wanted to make a robot that throws it exactly hard enough without wasting any energy, practical knowledge will have almost no value, and theory and math will be incredibly valuable.

This is coming from someone who does indeed have the whole “passive trajectory analysis of every moving object around me” thing. I can’t do crowds or drive at busy times. But, for moving through a minor crowd while reading a book, or pulling into a tight parking space while other cars are moving around near me, it’s very helpful. I have good spatial awareness in general, like parking in my garage with only an inch of clearance on the far side of my car has never been an issue in 14 years so far. Or when doing it with someone else’s borrowed car every now and then too. When I shrug off the difficulty of doing something like that, people seem to be amazed. Otherwise, I would have assumed it was normal, feels normal to me.

Do they have them when they are little too? Or maybe it worked out that it was less likely predators would yoink their babies because it seemed like they were always watching. Can’t sneak up on someone with eyes on the back of their heads, that never close, even while sleeping.

I use my hands to kind of do the same thing. It’s probably the behaviour they modeled Monk’s “hand thing” after. It still helps even if I’m searching using my memory and spatial awareness to recall and search through something I am not currently looking at. Somehow, narrowing the scope physically with my hands helps. It’s probably a muscle memory or proprioception thing.

For example, if I want to find something to eat in the fridge. I generally won’t be able to think of anything by just opening the fridge and looking through it. Unless there is something super obvious like a leftover pizza box or something else impossible to miss like that. Just trying to search by looking at each shelf only increases the odds of finding something by like 5%. But when I use my hand and slowly move it down the shelves, I can somehow think more clearly about what is on each shelf than I could without using my hand. And, as I mentioned, it also works even if I am no longer looking in the fridge. I can do it with the door closed and still more clearly recall what was on each shelf.

It also helps when scanning through my whole house looking for something, with and without currently having eyes on it. Like scanning through the whole house room by room while still sitting at my computer, I do a much better job if I am pointing my hand at the place I am thinking about as I scan.

I should probably mention I am Autistic, my spatial awareness and proprioception are two areas I have seemed to benefit. But it’s very easy to get confused or distracted if I have too much information at once. So that is mostly what is going on. I can’t just imagine that I am pointing at something in my imagination to gain the benefit, I have to be literally, physically pointing. Although I can translocate, like not be at my house or fridge and still scan my house or fridge by pointing relatively where each thing would be if they were there.

It’s not limited in scope as far as I can tell. Though it is kind of limited in resolution. The bigger the area I am scanning, the less detail I can recall about it when I am not there, or “looking through walls”. But when I am there, I can go as fine grained as the search demands, just takes longer.

When my siblings and I were kids, our parents considered themselves christian and we went to church. But as we grew up, we all stopped believing, and we convinced our parents to stop too. I don’t generally want to convince most religious people to stop, but we were kids at the time and didn’t really know the ramifications of disillusioning our parents. If religious people can believe in “heaven”(or equivalent) and think they are going there, it’s a really nice thought that I don’t want to take away from them. But people that use religion to hurt people, yeah I kind of want to take it away from them. I guess like anything else in life, if you are using it to be nice and constructive, cool. If you are using it to hurt people, take it away.

The real version of death kind of sucks. It honestly kind of physically hurts/feels bad to even think about ceasing to exist permanently. I feel like that has always been the true purpose and main point of religion. Pretending death is absolutely anything else other than what it really is. I don’t want to take that aspect away from anyone.

It is the burger, I’ve had this one a few times today and it was always the burger. Maybe you have something else going on, sometimes adblockers break them. Whether intentionally or not, who knows.

I bet if we blur it a bit and do an image search with it, we’d get pictures of a drink sitting on a beach and it’s shadow.

Oh ok. Yeah fair. I guess I’m used to the simplified version. Where it doesn’t use the full list, just splits it in half. This method would also work for odd lists of numbers rather than only even. Makes sense.

There is a bit of a typo in it. Since the list of 100 numbers was split in half, it should be x50 not x100. 50 sets of 101 from each pair.

“Surviving” is one thing. Why can’t we also continue to enjoy life like you guys got to do? You wouldn’t have been able to last a day in the world you left for us. Which is why as it got closer and closer to affecting you too, you just pushed harder and harder to keep it away from you, doing more and more damage for the rest of us to feel instead.

I would be totally ok with even the bigger developers just having tip jars on their websites. It took me so long to get money to the relevant peoples after a few years as a teen of pirating stuff and then eventually reforming and feeling bad after. But I also wouldn’t mind if games were cheaper as a whole, but you could tip the ones you enjoyed. Gives incentive for games to be worth it when you have finished them, rather than before you start them.

Lol, that is not at all the intended use case. But good on them for simplifying the process, I guess. The point, of course, is to cook them on separate sheets, but at the same temperature for the same time. So one use of the oven for both supper and dessert.

But, now I kind of want to try it.
