Disagree. I prefer XML for config files where the efficiency of disk size doesn’t matter at all. Layers of XML are much easier to read than layers of Json. Json is generally better where efficiency matters.
And generally that’s fine. If you’re posting stuff publicly, expect it to be public.
Lemmy gives away for free what Reddit is desperately trying to put up walls on so they can sell it, but I wouldn’t call it “private” because it’s monetized.

My favorite was when it kept summarizing too much. I then told it to include all of my points, which it mostly just ignored. I finally figured out it was keeping under its own cap of 5000 words in a response.
