Telegram as a platform is amazing. Feature rich while still easy to use. Easy to create useful bots too. Sadly the rest is questionable.

I still don’t get why my comlent was removed. Is there any log with comments?
I mean, I caught COVID a few months ago and it telt quite like the flu to me. And that’s the same for most of the healthy populus.
If you’re at risk, get the vaccine. If you have people close to you, get the vaccine.
Otherwise, don’t bother.
If you really want the vaccine, just follow the advise of your physician. They’ll know or find out wheter you can combine them.
If your a normal, healthy person there is no need to get the vaccine though. I get the flu shot every year because my employer offers it and I’m just a big wussy.
Why? Since COVID has become something similar to a flu it’s only advisory for people with high risk profiles to get the vaccine.
Meanwhile I still can’t breathe through my arsehole
Denmark is.
Are they still making music?
On what terms? I have my VPN permanently on. That doesn’t mean I’m trying to cheat.
Maps?
Use OsmAnd and MagicEarth? I’ve been using it for years now. Works fine.
Belgian here. Nope. No idea what they’re on about.
Is a self hosted docker different from this?
Is asking people to be nice an unfortunate way to live? Works well for me. I bear bad news a lot in my daily life and I am aware that perception of written text is in the eye of the beholder so I tend to tone down when bringing written messages.
As for the use of the word enshittified. That all boils down to your initial perception of Windows. You feel like it has been awful since… well, forever apparently. Many people disagree. It’s a matter of opinion, not facts. Whether I agree or disagree with your opinion doesn’t matter. The person you replied to felt like Windows used to be a decent OS that has turned for the worse to please their business customers. Somehow that’s how the term was coined.
‘‘Here is how platforms die: first, they are good to their users; then they abuse their users to make things better for their business customers; finally, they abuse those business customers to claw back all the value for themselves.’’
Please, be nice. We’re all here to help each other.
Robin Hood is a thief. You’re not a bad person. I get it. I have enough money and sometimes I have the urge to steal. It would be terrible to get caught because I have an exemplary function at work, to my children, in my surroundings… You have to consider whether it’s worth it. The fact that you ask the question is a good thing.
I’m puzzled. Is this not common in English? We use them all the time in Dutch.
The Mozilla foundation does gift funds…
Pizza baking sheets. They didn’t fit in my oven.
A paella pan. I don’t like paella.
A coffee grinder. It just doesn’t grind coffee beans to the right size.
A random Italian cookbook. I have a chefs degree. I’m well down with basic Italian cooking.
See, I cook every day. Twice. And on occasion I love to cook for friends but that also means I’m over poor quality cooking stuff. I’ll buy my own gear. Most people think they do me a favour but I just have useless stuff piling up over the years. I’m grateful to get gifts but last year I just told people right a way that if they want to give me cooking related gifts I would be equally happy with some special sort of salt of some fun ingredients to cook with. Those things don’t last as long but it would make for a much better gift for a food enthousiast.
It is a centrakized service.
And yes, the familiarity makes it easy to get people to switch. The phone numbers made my contact discoverable so I had an easy way to find out they’re on signal.
