Of the many ongoing derangment syndromes caused by mass media indoctrination, the Trump one is the most damaging. A huge number of people now openly support genocide.

We literally had this situation for decades before a few short years ago. People could invest to a meaningful degree and there was no crisis. What is your reasoning that this is impossible?

Two, there’s deep concern about what such steps say about the Kremlin’s frame of mind. Russia had in the past heavily guarded its military advances, especially from potential future rivals such as China. Trading its knowledge now is seen by some as sign of increased recklessness.

I like to think that I have a decent grasp of the world, particularly as a Marxist. But sometimes I really struggle to get into the settler cultural mindset. It’s relevant because understanding the root cause of the war is critical to defending your mind from the propaganda you’re being constantly subjected to.

Up to a week before the invasion Ukraine was threatening to install nukes and minimise Russia’s response time. This is a security threat that no state can tolerate. You know full well that the USA wouldn’t tolerate anything remotely similar.

This war was started by the USA overthrowing Ukraine’s democracy in 2014 and installing a puppet Banderite Nazi government designed to be a proxy for NATO to threaten Russia. The US believed they could take over Russia again and loot and pillage it like they did in the 90s. They lost control of it with the Iraq war, when Putin refused to help them murder a million plus Iraqis. He was supposed to be their tame, controlled dictator of the place that they were selling off to their oligarchs for pennies.

This was all well understood and known before the massive propaganda avalanche after the 2022 invasion (that Russia tried to avoid for the 8 years prior). Absurd repetition of the “Unprovoked” invasion, reinventing history to spin a yarn about Russia just deciding to invade to steal land etc.

Yes Russia and China and any other states that disobey.

Ukraine was attacking its own citizens for years before Russia invaded, after it was threatening to join NATO and install nukes etc.

from US perspective there is nothing more that can be achieved there going forward.

There’s trillions yet to be funneled to the MIC. I don’t know why they’d stop just because they lost another war. The US losing wars is as normal as the sun rising.

They won’t stop because of shame. I don’t see why they would disband. The propaganda campaign has only made it easier for them to expand.
