i played a match and i don’t get it, that game is just boring.

how do people actually play this?

i have colleagues who gush over how they want everyone else to play it.

it’s just so… stale

there’s still two left over in our household. while one is really heavy but manageable, the other one hasn’t been moved in years. probably for the best.

i hate fascists with a passion, but i might not agree with how antifa acts. i do not have any experience with the group itself, i might even agree with them.

for example, i do not like how the last generation glued themselves to streets. that doesn’t make me a climate denier, does it?

EDIT: it seems i misunderstood what antifa is. i always saw it as “the group of violent extremist protesters that throw rocks and light up cars”

again, i am fully for doing everything i can against fascists. but violent protests don’t contribute, all it does is make your movement the next boogeyman.

this is the kind of black and white thinking lemmy does best.

i was severely misinformed about what antifacism is. i was under the impression that “the antifa” was a group by itself instead of a mindset.

• jellyfin
• openboard
• symphony (music player)
• syncthing
• nclientV2 (te best way to read 6-digit codes)
• fair email (easily the best e-mail app i’ve ever used)

also youtube revanced (not entirely open source or available on f-droid, but the best way to watch youtube without ads for my use case)

mematic works decent if you’re on mobile. it is a (partially) paid non-FOSS app though.

alwas happens when friends show me vids on their iphones. all of my android friends already have revanced.

i can always start checking things off on my anime list.

youtube is just procrastination on my part. go ahead, make me stop using it.

and “if you don’t boycot everything remotely connected to right-wingers you’re a nazi” has happened to me more than once.

in the german communities you’re also very likely to be heavily insulted if you express your enhusiasm for cars, letalone trying to explain why we can’t switch everyone over to either public transportation or EVs.

sure, i love change for the better. the EU parliament is proof that change like this is possible, one just needs funding for lobbbyists like rossmann has done it.

in a fair world, all of these companies who abuse the GPL license woild get sued and have to face actual consequences. but the legal system favors the rich, and the FOSS dev is left to starve. killed by their own passion.

my jellyfin server has all of the seasons, including spin-off movies and bonus episodes.

a good product is the best advertising. make linux usable as a daily driver, and people come flowing in from the shithole that is windows.
