Fair enough, I hope you’re correct.
Did they explicitly say anywhere that future versions should be coming as well? I only see them mentioning Android 16, and devices still being “supported”, but that could also mean improvements in Android 16.
Could you please link this explanation?
Sadly they might not be able to update GrapheneOS to new Android versions anymore :(
When the second issue happens, does the reload button & address bar also no longer work? Then I have the same issue, it’s pretty annoying. It can be fixed by pulling the tab out into a separate window & merging it back into the previous one, but still very annoying.
I’d interpret that as a local social network app, not map/navigation.
There must be an anime about this
I don’t know, plastic feels fairly unnatural
As such we had to install openrgb the usual system-wide way, with rpm-ostree in terminal - something I was hoping he would never had to do.
There is nothing wrong with doing that if there’s no better option. You’re not losing out on anything.
I’ve started saying “beyond the pale” and “copacetic” after playing Disco Elysium
If our universe requires a being outside it as an origin, why shouldn’t that being itself require another being of even further outside as an origin, and so on?
Bear is white, say good night, and tuck it in and tell it a story. Once the bear has fallen asleep snuggle up to it, so it has a fresh morning snack.
What? No I’m not. Using a memory-safe implementation of sudo doesn’t take any power away from the user, how does that make sense?
sudo-rs doesn’t have anything to do with run0. Please take your pills grandpa, we’re worried about you.
Edit: in case you’re actually an older person, the latter part wasn’t meant as a swipe (just saw your pfp). In that case, sorry!
I have used two of these - one that’s 1080p which I’ve used for years, and one that’s 1440p that broke after a short time (but that was my fault).
I don’t really use them as touch screens. I once tried with my then-work-Macbook, but it was mapped to the wrong screen, so I stopped. Since then I’ve been using it exclusively as a screen.
The colors aren’t perfect, but otherwise it’s absolutely acceptable quality - not much worse than a 5-10 year old monitor IMO. I’m driving it through Micro USB & HDMI. Be aware that somehow every couple weeks I have to continuously unplug and replug the HDMI for the monitor to recognize the signal, don’t know why.
This was probably not very helpful, sorry! If there are any specific tests you’d like me to do, I’ll gladly do them. I bought mine at a fair and have never found it online, so you won’t be able to buy it, but there’s probably much better ones available now.
Regarding The Last Jedi - I agree that it tried something different, and that wasn’t a bad approach. What killed it for me however was the amount of slapstick and Marvel-esque humor. Star Wars always felt like mostly serious movies - sure, there was always goofy stuff like the trash chute monster or Jar Jar, but all in all they had the air of movies that take themselves seriously (probably due to the space opera nature).
TLJ was the first movie where I didn’t feel any of that. The first scene basically took a shit on a beloved character by way of cheap slapstick, and that never stopped.
(different person here)
I can’t give a satisfying explanation, but I can really recommend 3Blue1Brown on YT for great motivations for such things. He presents these topics in ways that make you want to understand them. I’m not sure which videos approach imaginary numbers - there might be standalone ones, but it definitely comes up in his explanation of the Fourier transformation.
I’m sorry, that sucks. As cliche as it sounds, when I was stuck in a similar rut, the biggest positive influence was to try and go outside regularly. Even if it’s just walking through nature for a couple of minutes every other day, it really helped my energy levels and mood.
Stay strong! I hope you find something better.
