A lot of people around me tend to parrot that a lot of the safety measures are not for explosives detection, but for drug trafficking prevention. I’ve always disagreed because nobody ever presented any evidence to it, and the measures in place do come from explosive detection (unless they have metal drugs now idk). But I’ve wondered whether there is some truth to it.

Man, I was enjoying Deus Ex, but I ended up dropping it halfway through. I also think that when I see people of that age married or with kids. But I think it’s just because of our different life experiences.
I opted to enroll in a PhD right after graduating and so, at 30, I still feel like my life isn’t at a point when I can start thinking about kids or marriage. But I know a lot of people enter relatively stable jobs as soon as they graduate university (or high school, although in my circles everyone went to university - it’s not as expensive as in the US here). I can understand people in that position starting to think about family earlier than me.
I have heard that complaint more recently and it wasn’t downvoted or anything, so I’d like to think you made an impact!

My input: I’ve never searched for papers in Scihub directly. I usually find them off Google scholar or something, and then put the paywalled URL or the DOI (an identifier you can usually find in the paywalled website) in Scihub to go to that paper. I don’t think search capabilities are in scihub’s scope.
